Pickup at Tirana Airport (TIA)

We meet you at Tirana International Airport (Nënë Tereza / Rinas) and hand over the car right there, no shuttle to an off-site lot. We also deliver in Tirana city. Tell us your flight and time on WhatsApp and we will be ready.

Which driving licence you need

Most national and EU driving licences are accepted. If your licence is not written in the Latin alphabet, bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside it. If you are unsure, message us your licence details before you travel and we will confirm.

Documents to bring

• Your passport or national ID
• Your driving licence (held at least 1 year)
• An International Driving Permit, if applicable

Payment & deposit

Prices are shown in euros (EUR). The rental and the refundable security deposit are settled in person at pickup. There is no online payment on this site, you book, we confirm on WhatsApp, and you pay when you collect the car.

Driving in Albania, the basics

• Drive on the right; overtake on the left.
• Seatbelts are mandatory; headlights on outside towns.
• Speed limits are signposted (typically 40 in towns, up to 90, 110 on main roads).
• Motorway tolls are minimal; keep some cash for fuel in remote areas.
• Roads to the coast and mountains are scenic but can be winding, allow extra time.

Where a car takes you

The airport is about 15 minutes from central Tirana. With your own car you can reach the beaches of Vlora and Saranda, UNESCO-listed Berat and Gjirokastër, and Shkodra Lake in a day or two, the freedom to explore Albania at your own pace is exactly what a rental is for.
